With so much material out there on individual and family survival, it’s easy to prepare for just about anything. There’s abundant literature, audio, and video products out there on bugging in, bugging out, first aid, water purification, and so much more – but one area seems to be lacking – your pets. America is a nation of pets; most every family has, has had, or will have at least one pet at some point. Some families have multiple pets, and some families yet have pets that are really on the large end of the pet scale such as horses and donkeys. What happens to pets during a disaster?
